Meet the teacher night is when parents are invited to the school to meet their child(ren)’s teachers so they can learn about their children’s learning environment in school.
Parents visited the school on September 28th to meet their child’s teachers. Parents were to follow their child’s Wednesday schedule, that was given to them when they walked in.
“Meet the teacher night is a good idea because it helps parents to understand what teachers are teaching their children and what will be taught later on in the year,” senior Sophie Chianese said.
Student ambassadors helped out at the event by guiding parents from room to room. An announcement was made every 15 minutes as a signal for parents to move onto the next classes.
Parents were let in at 6 PM and were welcome to stay until 8 PM.
